StorageAuctions.com allows you to browse thousands of storage auctions and bid on units of your choice. To participate, you can sign up for a free account. Once you’ve registered, you can bid on auction units from the comfort of your own home. You can even participate if you don’t live close to the auction location.
Before you bid on a unit, you need to contact the storage facility. They will not provide the gate code to the public, so you’ll need to present a valid photo I.D. and a lock to gain access. You’ll also need to sign a buyer’s agreement with the facility. Before you go in, you can’t touch the unit or the items. Once you’re done bidding, you must contact the office within 72 hours to clean the unit.
